Work With VK Light Solutions
VK Light Solutions is looking for experienced and reliable LED lighting installers to join our team for commercial projects throughout New Jersey. We work in warehouses, offices, retail properties and other commercial facilities.
Depending on the project and experience, compensation may be hourly or based on completed installations. Available positions are structured as 1099 independent contractor opportunities.
We are looking for professionals who take responsibility for their work, follow safety requirements and complete installations cleanly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Install and replace commercial LED lighting fixtures
- Work with HiBay fixtures, 4ft and 8ft strips, 2x2 and 2x4 panels, Wallpacks and other commercial fixtures
- Remove existing fixtures when required
- Perform basic wiring and fixture connections
- Follow project plans and safety requirements
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Work independently and as part of an installation crew
Requirements
- Previous construction or electrical experience in the United States
- Commercial lighting installation experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and job-site safety
- Reliable transportation to project locations
- Ability to use ladders and lifts when required
- Ability to work responsibly with minimal supervision
- Legal authorization to work and contract in the United States
- Own basic hand tools preferred
